What is Living Well?
"rivers of living water will flow"
Jesus said, "Let everyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them"
(John 7: 37/38)
Jesus wants us all to respond to His call...but not all of us feel able, or confident enough and many of us just don't know what to say or do.
"I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love" (Ephesians 4:1,2)
Whether it is sharing your faith with others, supporting fellow Christians on their journey or fulfilling a ministry you feel drawn to, we can all benefit from being part of an encouraging, supportive community of active Christians.
So, in response to this call, a group of 6 Christian Coaches came together to build Living Well - a community for developing Christian Leaders; a personal/professional development project based on spiritual practices and biblical teaching.
The aim of Living Well is to help build the skills, knowledge and confidence to support Christians in having engaged, supportive conversations with others.
In this way we can build up members of the body of Christ who are in need and lead others to Jesus.
The team at Living Well consist of qualified Christian Coaches with a range of professional backgrounds and experiences and we are on a mission to "equip God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up." (Eph 4v12)
By sharing our skills and knowledge in this way. it is our desire to equip you and your communities to build positive relationships, fostering personal growth and a deeper connection with God, in ministry, service, and pastoral roles.
When we talk about leaders, we are not just referring to those in recognised positions of authority within the church. Jesus called a disparate group of individuals to be his first followers – he saw qualities and potential in them that they probably didn’t see in themselves- and we believe that that this calling continues today.
You may not recognise yourself as a formal ‘leader' but, if you have a real heart and passion for serving others, if you want to contribute to helping others grow in their faith, then we seek to model the example of servant leadership which Jesus gave us – and which we can all aspire to.
